Hell no. The most I’ve paid for Deerhunter was $25 and even still, that was pushing it.

When I was into jrock and vk I wanted to visit japan to see favorite artists and I still do even though I give two shits about the band fandoms now
Dude… $85 is a really decent ticket price. I (well, mom and I) had to pay around $225 for each ticket to the Adam Lambert concert I went to a year or two back. Scalpers nabbed a lot of the tickets and it was a tiny show, but I had to see it, so… over-priced 12-row away tickets ahoy! Aaaand we went and saw Final Fantasy: Distant Worlds recently and that was $80 something a piece.
Bands, especially smaller/less popular ones, really deserve the money they make from ticket sales. They work hard. I really regret missing both Miyavi and the Protomen here JUST because I didn’t know about the shows and found out after. I really, really wish I could have given them my money to support them/give a higher chance of them coming back. :< especially Miyavi, since y’know…… Japanese artists.
